04 / More About Paolo

Designer, artist, and creative entrepreneur whose practice moves across lettering, visual identity, art direction, digital experiences, and apparel.

His relationship with design began long before it became a profession — from drawing and editorial cartooning in his early years to working in web development, before rediscovering his visual practice through calligraphy and hand lettering in 2015. What began as a personal study of letters eventually grew into commissioned work for musicians, cultural projects, and local and international brands.

Alongside his independent practice, Paolo leads Senioritos, the Filipino apparel brand he co-founded in 2016. Through the brand, design becomes something physical and lived: clothing, objects, campaigns, collaborations, and stories shaped around culture, creativity, and everyday experience.

Over time, that fascination with letterforms expanded into a broader design practice. Today his work moves between independent art and typography, identity and brand systems, digital and commercial projects, and apparel — still guided by an interest in the character of a letter, the feeling behind an image, and how design continues to live once it leaves the screen.

He currently serves as Executive Treasurer of the Communication Design Association of the Philippines (CDAP) and continues to participate in initiatives within the Philippine creative community.
